After meeting on a cruise Sally and David fell in love instantly. Their friends always made jokes about believing in love at first sight.
After only three months of being together David knew Sally was the one and couldn’t wait to make his love official. David planned a trip to New Zealand where Sally is from to meet her parents and to propose to her.
His proposal was romantic, emotional and full of love. "I cant believe how perfect the proposal was". Said Sally, still tearing up every time she talks about the event.
The newly engaged couple decided to have their wedding in 6 months. In Melbourne where the couple live the July weather is not the most pleasant weather of the year for the outdoor wedding that the couple dreamed of.
Not long after asking around, a friend suggested the couple to use Help The Bride. On their first consultation realised of their option of having their dream wedding in the tropical weather of Bali.
The couple’s goal for their wedding was to create a day that represented their relationship. Sally shares, “We wanted to feel comfortable and for our guests to feel the same. We kept things simple, and easy”. We have never been to Bali so at first we were both unsure of what we were doing, but Newsha from Help The Bride made it so easy for us to decide. She showed us previous wedding videos of 3 luxury venues that she continuously works with and told us we are not limited to these options. She patiently listened to our story and our vision of what we wanted to do and in couple of weeks she came back to us with a plan of what we always dreamed of our wedding to be”.
David shares “ Help The Bride planned the exact wedding as we described, she also added bits and pieces that we forgot to ask, that's the beauty of having a wedding planner who just got married in Bali herself and has walked this path before".
Planning a wedding is exciting and sometimes overwhelming. The couple have all sorts of ideas, which they wish to apply but they don’t know where to start or how to start it. My job here is to clear their mind from all thoughts and stresses and focus on the important things that create the unnecessary dramas. First thing I always suggest is to have an electronic invites and create a website which will have all the information your guests need on it. This will limit their daily phone calls to you about the weather, the accommodation and the time and the date of wedding (you will be surprised to know how many people keep forgetting the date too). Here at Help The Bride we offer a simple wedding website so the couple don’t have to chase their guests for RSVP, not everyone has the time to post their RSVP envelope, plus majority of the time the post will never make it to its destination. With the website they can just RSVP with one click. No excuse.
Often couples stress themselves with aspects of the wedding, which needs no focus at all, and they let the fun part of the planning slip away. Help The Bride will do the work so you can sit back, relax and focus on the love between you two.
On the wedding day Sally looked gorgeous, her makeup was flawless, her eyes were shining and her heart was filled with love. She said to Newsha “ I cannot believe I am attending my own wedding like one of the guests, Help The Bride left nothing for us to worry about”.
Their wedding was romantic, magical, loved focused and filled with tears of joy and laughter. The couple and their guests all accommodated in Niksoma Resort where the wedding was so travelling was not an issue after the wedding.
Sally later on thanked Help The Bride for suggesting a destination wedding, she mentioned “destination wedding is great because you will celebrate for the length of your holiday, you will spend more quality time with your friends and family and you will get to relax before the wedding, plus the cost will be significantly lower than having a wedding in big cities”.
